Orient Express prototypical locomotives, stock & ROUTE suggestions????

The modern train has very little in common with the historic operation. The best sites I've found for the historic Orient Express are the CIWL archive and French historian and "Train consultant" Clive Lamming. https://www.wagons-lits-diffusion.com/...

Orient Express prototypical locomotives, stock & ROUTE suggestions????

I believe the Est/SNCF 241As sometimes hauled the Orient Express on the Paris-Strasbourg leg but it would more often have been a smaller loco such as a Pacific. I don't think any of my other locos would have hauled the Orient Express, but they might have been used on other CIWL trains. One...

European and British Narrow Gauge Screenshots

Have you got the routes by the late Clam1952. Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland is an excellent model of a real route, whilst Penybryn is a fictional route in a Welsh style. He also made a Lynton and Barnstaple route (not Welsh but also likely to be of inteterest0.

I've also tried the loco in cab mode, I put 30 loaded coal wagons behind it (using one of Anthony's specs) and was able to keep it going over the S&C at about 40 mph with the safeties lifting. That seems about right to me (although I wouldn't claim to be an expert on steam performance).

    One Weird Locomotive!

Just remembered the ever entertaining "Curator with a Camera" series from the British National Railway museum featured an industrial version of one of these locos.

    One Weird Locomotive!

These locomotives originated in a narrow gauge design used on WWI trench railways. After the war the design was developed for industrial use including as standard gauge versions.

Trainz Gallery search broken again ?

I've had this behavior when trying to upload images in format other than jpg. As far as I can tell the gallery only accepts jpgs but doesn't give any helpful error messages if you try to upload other formats...

A Small Issue With The LNER Gresley Coaches In Trainz 2019

Make sure your Trainz is set to compatibility mode to avoid this sort of error. However, as John says, in this case there are updates with new scripts to make them work properly in other modes.

Does anyone know good websites with SBB Electric and Steam Locomotives?

I have some Swiss steam locos and carriages on the DLS, hopefully I will do more in the future too. See here for details: https://forums.auran.com/threads/swiss-locomotives-rolling-stock-by-edh6.179279/
