AC4400CW/AC44CW and C44-9W are different locomotives. The AC4400CW is powered by AC traction and has numerous visual differences compared to the DC traction C44-9W.

Two mistakes. Number one is requesting the models are freeware, and two is requesting T:ANE compatibility. You're getting neither of these things and JR hasn't made a single T:ANE compatible item in years now, due to Trainz 2019 and up supporting PBR.

Before you save the image, instead flatten the layers (merge them down), then export with photoshop's built-in export tool that allows you to change the file type to .tga or .png. Then copy/paste the file destination into the export dialogue, save the texture file...

You don't have to hand-draw logos. The Amtrak logo is free and in high-resolution. Use official logos and the quality of your skins will improve dramatically.

Place them down on the ground from the Buildings tab, and turn your draw distance all the way up, or else you won't see them. It's essentially a giant dome that covers over the default Trainz skybox.
