If you don't mind me asking, are you using a Blender / Substance workflow? Regardless of the toolset, its beautiful modeling and texturing.

    Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

Yes, Bay Area. I had an apartment in Emeryville next to the SP CalP line.

I remember hearing one of these idling away outside my old apartment in NorCal. Seeing it was an EMD I thought to myself, what's wrong with that locomotive. That's not what an EMD should sound like. Hearing the throttling up in that video though reminds me of the old GE U series with that chug.

I'll pick up the units when they release and will worry about the New England route later. Maybe a modernized New England Coastal?

I was sold on the Santa Fe SD26's, but those Guildford units are too good to pass up. The weathering is incredible. Nice work.

[Multi REQUEST]Locomotive or paint for future release

Also for the Railfan Series, there's the UP snoots, including "slogan" units. These would mate nicely with your already released N&W SD40-2's. UP generally kept their units clean in the 80's, but some weathered versions would also be welcomed.

[Multi REQUEST]Locomotive or paint for future release

It's been awhile since there's been a release of the Railfan Series SD40-2's. If you're looking for future release ideas, I would like suggest Union Pacific SD40-2's in the 1980's scheme with silver trucks. Below are a few examples.

Any possibility of Felix_g's route being released?

That is a nicely done route. Reminds me of the old South of Market industrial area in San Francisco.

    NEW Release 12/26/23

Maybe try a different browser. My Chrome browser seems to have issues when downloading from RRMods. No problem with Edge though. Just thought I'd pass it on.

Southern serves the South! I can see these units mating nicely with JR's SOU SD35's. Audie, are there any plans to do a CNW SD18? I believe they were built from ex-SOU SD24's. It would make a nice addition to the other JR CNW units. Thank you!

Depending on the GP9 phase, it could have a drum controller and a 24 brake stand. The SD24 interior shots show a newer cash register style controller along with a 26 brake valve. Also, the electrical cabinet bumps out from the back cab wall. Late phase III GP9's would be closest to this cab...

Between the UP, ATSF, and BN units... and probably the Q units also... let's just say I'm glad I got the liquid cooled credit card. Excellent work!

I look at it as an investment in my happiness. I'm generally not a pre-BN fan, but those CB&Q units just may win me over the "pre-merger" side.

I would agree that an updated SD9E along with an updated SD7R would be nice. Heck, anything SP and first generation would be nice.

Wow Audie, those SD24's look fantastic. Thank you for doing the later paint schemes. I remember seeing those as a kid at the East LA yard.
