    Tunnel/Portal assets

Each tunnel asset is a little different. Some are built as kits. Others are "fully furnished", but have limitations like grid-snap or overlarge digholes. In case you're unfamiliar, digholes are the objects that turn the terrain invisible so you can see into the tunnel. An example of a furnished...

I think that would be fantastic. That is really cool, I love that elevated track going up to the top of the stock house. That's great that you can get a look at the powerhouse and furnace. That's going to be a good one, looking forward to it :)

Those switch stands you asked me about are labeled New Century Switch Lamp, made by UP8328. Looks like they're on the DLS. 5

Thanks Blue, me too. The narrow gauge stuff really puts the fantastic back into railroading. They must have been everywhere, a sort of reinforced road of their age. This is another picture of that mill, looks like the back of the furnaces. The date is cutoff but looks like 1909. Notice the...

I'm loosely familiar with the mill, but haven't seen that photo. Its a great photo, good time period too. The more I see of that mill, the more I want to explore it. I think modeling the Colorado system or any mill during the 1920s thru 1940s would be a really great experience, we're just...

Well, a lot can change in just a few weeks, and VMR is no exception. The good news, I think we're coming to the end, whether I want it to be or not. My graphics card seems to be writing IOUs to the hard drive, shown below as the magically vanishing switch points. The weird thing is, they show up...

It really does help, we're very lucky to have such a dedicated and generous bunch of content creators. Updated screenshots from surveyor and session tests, as well as a little map of the layout. Nearly there, just a bit more to go. 1 2 3 4 5 6

Thanks for all the positive feedback :) Yes, I'm still working on it, and yes I'm going to release it. Some up to date screen shots of the project below. Still lots to do, but getting closer.

Coal Country 2.0 - Official Route WIP Thread

Hey Scratchy I found parts of Dave Snow's Paper mill, Ethanol Plant, and Cottonseed Oil Plant kits very useful. I found the pipe splines and pipe bridges from Dave's kits worked great, as well as Deane's (Dinorius_Redundicus) larger 1 and 2 meter pipes for the furnace pipes. The processing...

My latest project, a steel mill in a room. Still in the works. A huge thank you to Deane, Don, Dave, Bob, and so many others who've put their time and energy into the pool of resources we rely on so much to create these routes. Couldn't have gotten there without you.

    Delete screenshot

Since the gallery is still functionally out of service, the best method might be to log into the gallery, then scroll through the recent activity until they find their screenshots. Hovering over them or clicking on them should reveal an option to delete them.

Sci-Fi trainz; A retwist of the brain.

I wonder if we don't see more trains in scifi because they're difficult to speculate on. Consider, besides the finer details known among the modelers and engineers, the general construction of locomotives has not changed all that much. Anyone else think the cyberpunk loco was built by importing...

What are these on this loco please:

The box with fans might be an industrial hvac unit of some kind.
