So far, I still have to assign drivers. What am I doing wrong?

When I place an engine in session and it shows a driver already what do I do with the current driver? Also, when I run my previous built routes in which loco's and consists were placed in surveyor originally and open the session to run them all the consists, they have their drivers in the...

What is strange to me is I went back to my previous layout builds to see if this problem is in them and it's not. All drivers in their loco's and everything works fine.

Where would I look for driver set up and driver set up screen?

So, I tried editing a Sesson and put a consist with locomotive, save and exited and reopened the Sesson and no driver in locomotive. Had to put one in. Maybe it's me or the game? So, what's the correct way to place consists and a locomotive so this issue stops happening? Tired of picking drivers. :(
