I will just post some random WIP TS2012 and TS2009 routes here.
This is the route that I am starting to work on, it is a Union Pacific route with a short-line branching off.

Looking away from the yard ladder(the ladder is behind the image)

The yard and UP main(the track branching off to the right)

Help

HELP!
Is there an easier way to lay grass than splines and piece by piece?

Also, can you make Flickr images bigger?(Thanks GN)

To make Flickr images bigger, there should be a "Share" dropdown box above the photo. When clicking that, there should be another dropdown box titled "Size" down towards the bottom of the first dropdown box. Hope this helps.

Update

Update! Got through start of town and mainline elevation today, also added oil jacks and more dunes.
Track elevation on main to 0.3 units, sidings and yards 0.0 units

And the almost finished town and yard

And the map view

Hope you guys enjoy, yet again more to come!

for your issues with the grass, what I do is I lay down a few spots, then I used the copy paste feature, which TS12 has and let's you do with splines

box in an area of which you already got the splines
and paste where you want

My first test run went really well

Need some grade help though, how do i get the slope to continue from the spline all the way to the edge of the map?

You should try to rotate your textures to avoid the checkerboard look.
