Nice one, Casper. :D The area that we live in is basically some farmland in the wooded country (with a big freeway just down the road from us that creates a whistling noise at night/in the early morning from the traffic ), ;) so your screenshot shows a somewhat similar environment (except for the industries and railway tracks, etc.). ;)

As for the cows: I think that I might like a cow that dispensed Mountain Dew(R), Coca-Cola, or iced tea instead. :p :hehe: ;)

Regards.

Thanks Retro!

The green landscape is based on where I live in the southern UK. The rail line is a fictitious addition, as is the industrial area.

However, areas such as this were not uncommon in the midlands and north of England where there were very sudden changes in scenery from industrial grime to open greenery. That was, of course, before Margaret Thatcher closed our factories! A few still exist though.

Regarding the cattle, I guess with a big enough stretch of the imagination, the industry in the background could be the world’s biggest bovine beer bottling plant!

Cheers

looks like the carz are not in sync with the route's high res overall quality need to get better ones if you ask me.:hehe:

I like your use of this barn with sagging roof...very realistic. BTW Dermmy, will you give the permission to Pofig to upload your EK route with his speedtrees as he is asking in your EK thread ?

Interesting shot Andy!

I’m intrigued with the building. It’s similar to Deane’s (Dinorius_Redundicus) barns along the roof line, but more modern and “unwrecked”.

It looks as if the builder put it up recently and there’s been a fault with the construction of the ridge timbers. It far too new to be falling down already!

Is it a recent asset?

Here are a couple of older models (I think).

Hi Casper

Great shot!

The barn is an asset from Linda (Shortline). Search the DLS for 'Barn Library'. It is a very clever 'kit' of parts - dozens of parts - which all refer back to just a couple of hi-res texture files. The main building is one asset, the lean-to extension is another, the doors and windows are all separate. It's great fun just playing around with it! Now that I have you all excited I think the trainzbuild might be a problem for you, pretty sure it is 09 minimum. Almost worth an upgrade just to get it...

Andy ;)
