The UK Locos Class 31 and 47 have drivers which change cab ends automatically when the direction is changed, however if I use them on any layout that has been " meged " with another this facility stops working and the drivers stay in the same cab end and do not move ?
I think this is really weird and not knowing how computer programmes work wondered if somebody out there could explain why this is happening and if possible how to make them work properly again.
I don't understand how merging one layout with another can affect the the function of these two types of Loco, the Class 37 by the way which also has the same reversable driver function is not affected by merging and works just fine.
