Use of chat in multiplayer?

Hello All,

For those who have used multiplayer, does it incorporate the use of microphones to talk to other players or is there a text based chat? The thought just crossed my mind so I'd thought I'd ask.

there is a txted based chat. it opens when you first open the session.

only text, but some of us use skype or teamspeak 2 to talk voice....
