A Thames Trains Class 166 scoots past 57601 hauling a Motorail service out of Paddington, by the way the Class 166 is also a reskin of mine.

I am currently "modding" the ECML route to look like 1958-60 and today I had a go at Langley Moor viaduct a couple of miles south of Durham. It was one of those jobs which looks easy but ended up taking all day! Here it is being crossed northbound by 60534 "Irish Elegance".

Somewhere between Waterloo East and Borough Market Junction a Class 319 ascends the incline to Blackfriars meanwhile a Class 465 and Class 466 pass with a service to Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Nice jobs, never was a fan of the really late DMUs but I can appreciate the composition on that last and the other shots are just dandy. As for myself, I think I'll go in the direction of Nathan Mallard and go for some large ex-LMS steam.;) In this case, ex-S&DJR steam.

Fowler 7F 53807 backs into Ft. Williams on the Jacobite train. Rather than the usual Mk1 corridors I've gone for suburbans, maybe it's the teacher's commuter train to Hogwarts.:hehe:

Yeah yeah, so I have ex-SR GUV vans in Scotland. Was testing out the new rebuilt Bulleids earlier.

Passing the brilliant Highland countryside.

Crossing the long curved viaduct, not that accurate but better than what was there in my opinion.

Crossing towards the first tunnel.

And blasting out of the first tunnel.

Yet another nice viaduct on the line...this place is just stunning.

And just some nice hillside.

No, I'm going through and replacing all the old bridges with newer ones, old tunnels with better tunnel kits, and, of course, replacing the old bullhead track with the newer stuff, things like that. Oh, and laying in river splines too. I hope to do more than that, but so far it's coming out well.

Trainboi1, please could you tell me where the Fowler 7F comes from in your highland pics. Have been desperatley trying to get one for my Bath layout for ages. Hope you can help.

I know you weren't asking me, but the answer is simple: he made it.

Thought this myself, just not sure. Have emailed his Trainz Forge website to find more info on this loco. Have been looking round for ages for the locos to complete my Bath route. The 7f and standards especially the 5mt are nowhere to be found.

Excellent shots on here everyone!

some 3rd rail action at Fairbridges:

I think you're referring to Ben's TF e-mail, he'll prolly forward those to me at some point. But the facts are simple enough. This is coming-likely by the end of the week-to the DLS, with SDJR livery, LMS in both number sets, and BR livery with early and late crest. Accompanying it is an update on my Midland Compound to bring it up to current standards, and just for the record, these do have ARN and ACS. My only reservation about them is that I kinda wish I could modify the scripts to have an optional Pines Express headboard...Maybe that'll come in an update. My point is that these should be out quite soon, and it really is as much fun as it looks.
And nice shots yerself, Mightyena.:p

That's great news trainboi1. Really looking forward to these they will complement my Bath route. As mentioned before the 7fs are badly needed.
