Reading Station Circa summer 2001, and Prototype Class 57/6 in the garish Porterbrook Livery is ready to depart for the West Country. This is still a work in progress and has been a little project I've had going on for a while in the background, progress on it has been slow but steady but the livery is at a presentable stage now.
They are all on the DLS .
Do a search for "Network Rail" , "Colas" and "Class 144" and if your searching via the internet DLS then you need to make sure you tick the "TRS2004" version box in the search parameters .
I've been modifying Thirsk station on the ECML to look like it's pre 1959 (closure of the Melmerby- Ripon line) layout and here is a G5 signalled from the fast line to the slow at the north end of the station. G5 at Thirsk Trainz 2012 - 30.4.14 par PinzaC55, on ipernity
Managed to grab a few very enjoyable hours on the preserved Great Central yesterday, mainly to see D9016. Recreated in Trainz using TMZ's excellent model: 2995valliant_20140504_0000 by Rose Narrowboats, on Flickr
The May bank holiday has seen the completion of the extension of the electrification past PFX's Oakgate Junction .
Brand new Network Rail Series 2 Catenary installed along with a few track and signalling alterations
(many thanks to PFX for allowing personal alterations to his route)
Thanks
I wasn't really planning on releasing it , I needed a route with the scenery complete into which I could fit the new catenary to try it out , Somehow the catenary didn't look complete on a bare board with just track .
PFX's licence agreement with this route allows "alterations for own use" so it fitted the bill perfectly .
I'll have a chat with PFX , But note that if it is released then it will probably be in a cut down format with the just the area I've altered .
