TS12 Unable to open CDP file for reading

Hi I am getting an error in Content Manager when trying to import CDP files from the Trainzona website. This particular train: http://trainzona.ru/dop/mvps/postoian/164-pak-er22-hh-ts-12.html I have download the CDP files but get a message in Content Manager that it is 'Unable to open CDP file _ for reading'. One of the files is 6.44 MB in size is that to large for CM to import?

No - it usually means that the CDP file is corrupt.

Thanks for your quick reply. Its a weird one the website says the train works in TS12. Tried multiple files off the site and getting the same result. Possibly some difference with the files on the Russian version of Trainz 12 because all the comments on the site don't point to the files not working.

It may be that the files from that site have issues due to their filenames. Check that there are no odd characters in the filename.

Hi Shane changed the names of the files and Content Manager is now accepting the files. Thank You very much for your help.

No problem. Odd filenames is one of the main reasons why CM has problems installing some .CDP files. Perhaps Russian users should at least try and translate the filenames of their .CDP files into English if not the assets.
