As a Steam user, I think this is a good thing as it brings Trainz to a whole new group of users that otherwise might not get to be exposed to it.

Steam also offers game software minus the offensive copy protection schemes like SecureROM. Spore is really a fun game once you don't have to worry about it disabling your CD/DVD burner.
