I saw that, when creating a diesel or electric engine spec with more than 8 throttle notches, the tractive effort applied at any notch >8 is the one for notch 8.
An example : for notch 8, at 50m/s, I have a tractive effort of 93 kN. For notch 16 i have 186 kN. This is what I write in the engine spec.
Now what I see in TRS19 (I'm pretty sure it was the same with TANE btw) : at notch 8, I have 93 kN. At notch 9, 93 kN. ... At notch 16, again 93 kN.
So basically, all notches after 8 are useless.
Am I the only one to experience this ?
