Hi all,

A few of us have decided to create an accurate C&O Hinton Division. We know that Peter Cooper is/has made one for Trainz: A New Era. I myself, live a few hours from the division and know what it looks like now a days. We will be modeling the 1946 era for this route.

Models needed for sessions will be built ground up by The Erecting Hall.

Current members on this project.

N8phu- DEM creation/ Demographic information/ Track laying, Alleghany Division/signaling/sessions
Trainman7616 -/scenary/texturing/sessions/ locomotives, rollingstock, animation
Don49plm- Building creation
NIARTcar - passenger equipment creation

Here are what buildings from Hinton are currently built. I also didnt bake them because it wouldnt have made a difference.

In terms of content packs, we will also be releasing freeware rolling stock and locomotive packs. The packs will include a variety of rolling stock that would have commonly appeared on the C&O in the forties, such as 40ft wood boxcars (double and single sheathed), 40ft steel boxcars, stock cars, tankers, and much more!

This will be interesting... I have the Alleghany Divison in progress and the two meet in Hinton.

The 2-6-6-6 Is one I passed on to Bdneal and Let me tell you it runs beautifully now, I can't wait for him to finish it up.

That makes two of us. He is probably the best when it comes to articulated locomotives. He's already done a 2-8-8-2, 2-6-6-2, 2-6-6-2T, and a 0-4-0+0-4-0 garratt, both narrow and standard-gauge. I mean, how many people create payware-quality steam locomotives but offers them as freeware? Hopefully he'll make a generic version, as I can see some Trainzers having a good time with it.

Great to see this project going guys! Y'all make a good team with the broad range of skill. Just wondering though, sense I'm one of the few who isn't waiting for the day T:ANE comes out (I haven't had anything to do with it actually), will this route be available to TS12 users?
Thanks, and good luck!

Someone may have already made C&O signals

Yup, Zak from Eastcoasttrainz has built some beautiful signals for us that are of the same quality as his SAL signals that are hosted at The Erecting Hall.

They make quite the sight when you run thru Clifton Forge at night.
