Talyllyn Railway for Trainz

hbl

Now straightjacket-free
G'day all,

As a lot of you will know, for the past 1 1/2 years I have been slowly working on the world-famous heritage railway, the Talyllyn. The project was going well, until 6 months ago when my hardrive crashed. This included the route 50% complete.
So, immediately after fixing the problem, I reinstalled Trainz, and got on with it. As of today (6 July 2008) the route has all track laid and graded, with some roads placed down. The cutting between Tywyn Wharf and Pendre has had some 'painting' done (see below photos), and I have begun work on Pendre yard.

Wow, very nice :)

Had an interest in the Talyllyn railway for a fair while now... Probably helps that I've been a volunteer at it's 'twin' railway in Aus (Puffing Billy)...

Anyway, looking forward to more screenies. Very interested in this route :)

BTW, is that DEM work by jerker?

Yeah, everyone makes that mistake once or twice.

As for the route, those are not bad shots. I hope your project becomes a success!
