As in the real world, AI drivers know what the next speed sign says before they get to it. But, as far as I can tell, they take no action until well past the sign.
So you have to place the sign quite a long way before where you want the speed reduction or increase to kick in.
Does anyone know exactly what this distance is? Is it fixed or does it depend on other things, like the speed indicated or the speed of the train?
