Please excuse the building sticking out over the edge but there are no building 'flats', just pretend its sawn off at the edge.
Done in 09 native mode, give something like this a try, its a heap of fun and finished in one night ;)

WOW.....A shelf layout.....Very nicely done....Looks like a nice switching puzzle :hehe:

Wow, those were quick replies, thanks guys, I am going to build an 8x2ft diorama in On30 and am trying out some ideas in trainz.

Cheers David

Nice one David!

How did you achieve the effect of "isolating" the layout in mid air?

Measured the 8x2ft in O scale and then dropped the rest of the baseboard down a fair way and painted it flat black.

There are several other types of NG tracks on DLS, and other places...I used "1000mm_cnRusty"-36" Gauge. It has RR spikes, and looks alot less like a fill track.

Anyone else have any favorite NG track sugestions ?

This small RR reminds me exactly of an old Model Railroader magazine article and photos of a New England NG RR (Naragaset Bay, I believe)

Yes there is a lot more ng track on the dls, but as I wanted ng30" the tracks you stated are useless to me.
And please do not try to hijack this thread "Please post track type suggstions here" start your own.

Cheers David

Edit, by the way 1000mm is 39.3" not 36".

This looks like a cool route, and I'm going to start one.

(By the way, this track is available under 760mm as "760mm_cmNG")
