Missing kuids! Need help.

Ok, I've looked all over the forums, and the DLS for this info and came up with nothing. I recently downloaded the multiplayer sessions for the UMR2022 route, but there are missing assets from ID number 218873, and can not find them anywhere. Tried messaging the sessions creator but not gotten a response yet. Can anyone help?

You should be able to download this asset from the DLS. Right-click on the unknown asset and use Download this version and see if that works.

But I am afraid that although DLS routes such as UMR are listed as dependents, they will also be missing this asset. The only probable way to get this is to buy one of the payware routes. The other option is to find a grain truck on the DLS that you like and clone it to the missing KUID.

It's just a wet dream of those generating such "necessary" payware looking versions of previously released free assets as it is obviously in this case, <kuid:64038:278064> was available on trainzproroutes as free and I bet the kuid2 version has ZERO difference, except being generated to pull the banknotes from the wallets of desperate seekers...

Yup and I agree!

When an "obsolete" version is available for download and downloading that version doesn't remove the unknown dependency, I have done some KUID fixing and asset importing.

I open the config.txt file, match the KUID to the one that's missing and then import the asset that's opened for editing because submitting doesn't work. I then revert the original and delete that one since it's no longer needed.

I download the DLS version and then add an obsolete tag for the unknown kuid. Open the route should use the DLS version and when saved it should have the old kuid in the asset table. Save the route and the DLS version should be the one Trainz looks for. You can revert to original the DLS asset for future use.

the game keeps telling me this is a missing dependency in my game, but it won't tell me what it is missing from, which would enable me to delete the entire thing, so I thought if I could download the alleged missing object, I stand a chance of sorting the thing out.
