Meaning of Obsolete in Trainz

I recently re-downloaded SantaFe Class2900 Locomotive #2921.
It is on the DLS and, as I used to have it in previous versions of Trainz, I thought I might try to get it to function in 2012.
However, it downloads as Obsolete.

Does Obsolete mean it has been upgraded or replaced with a newer version?
(The only mention of 'obsolete' in the Manual for TS12 says a new version obsoletes an earlier version.)
I have not been able to locate the version which has made this one Obsolete.
If Obsolete means it no longer functions in any version of Trainz shouldn't it be removed from the DLS?
Please don't take this as a criticism. Just a point I would like explained.

Obsolete means: You have a newer version of that asset also downloaded on that PC.

If you right-click on it and click on View Asset Versions, you'll be able to find the latest version that way.

Thank you. Found it.
My error. All the associated files (tender, etc) were the obsolete ones.
The loco itself had not been updated since Build 1.3 and I simply didn't look closely enough.
Now running okay in TS12.
