How to skip the "Latest News" screen?

I'm running TRS 2009 on my HDTV. When trs2009 starts up it goes to that stupid "Latest News" page. I can't figure out how to escape from that screen and get to the game. I don't want to lower my resolution as it works fine in-game...but it must be hiding a button to get me out of that page.

I put in the -skip intro entry into Trainzoptions but it didn't help.

The keyboard shortcuts for the main menu screen are:

s - surveyor
d - driver
r - railyard

You are missing the buttons at the bottom of the screen. All the keyboard shortcuts are listed in the TS2009/settings/keyboard.txt file.
