Download Transfer Rate

Hi All

For the past few days when I've gone to download something from the DLS the transfer rate is as low as 5kb/sec which of course is no help. Is this a problem with the DLS or is it my computer thats at fault ? has anyone else had this problem ?

Last week is was fine up around 400kb as normal.

If it is my computer can someone suggest how I fix it as my computer knowledge is almost nil !!

Has your FCT expired? Check that first.

my download rate is nearly always 5/6kb/sec I thought that was normal

It's normal if you haven't got a First Class Ticket.

thats OK then as I havent got a FCT

Thanks Shane, yes my FCT had expired and I had not noticed, so now all renewed and running at old speeds again.

It's worth checking your profile occasionally as it may notify you on things like that (or even your email).

It's OK, anyway.
