do you know these tracks?

Sometimes on DLS there are "hidden jewels", not emphatized on the Forum. I'have found these tracks made by Fred24, very realistic and suitable for a french or british steam era layout. They came with animated turnouts.
Thank's to the creator, but now we need crossings ;)

Thanks for bringing these tracks to our attention giuliano0, they do look very nice and worth a trial for me I think.

Great stuff! They are UK style Bullhead , but I always thought Rumour3"s Bullhead was the only one available? Painting the ends of the checkrails white is the norm on the Southern electrified system.

Wow  That track looks superb!! :D

Thanks for pointing it out Giuliano0, and thanks to Fred24 for creating them

Hi giuliano0

Those tracks look great, very realistic. Thanks to Fred24. I have searched him on the DLS but I don't know which items to download. Please could anyone tell be which items to download. :)

Thanks
Robert

Lol I didn"t point it out, the OP did! But I"ve had a look thru Fred24"s stuff and it all looks great - his Loco Ashpit "Fosse" will be useful

Ciao Giuliano,

I thought Fred24 has some crossings on the DLS, I have seen PN 1V -60 degre route U and the PN 1V 90 degre route U in both 1 track and 2 track crossings, he says they have been used on routes already created by eldwane and sunflower - who did the Roanne and the Tire Bouchon layouts.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

BTW these are all "DC Rails" but note that the 1000 MM variety are narrow gauge.I believe the check rails are the items listed as "Aiguikkage" but they show up as faulty in CMP...:(

"aguillage" is french for turnout. These turnouts are "objects" and can be used with Andi06 invisible track, in order to make animated junctions.

I was wondering how these superb creations worked. So they work the same way as the Andi06 junction kit then?

Thanks for that. Did Fred24 ever issue any instructions or guidance about how his fixed junctions were meant to work and what other elements are supposed to be used with them? The Andi06 junctions are not straightforward by any means and, if these differ in any way, then it would be nice to know.

Also, any ideas about the following items which, although listed in CMP, don't appear to be on the DLS:
aiguillage droit 10 degres R50,<kuid2:185550:38031:1>

aiguillage droit 10 degres R50 rouille,<kuid2:185550:38032:1>

This is some of the best track I've seen in TRS, but it all seems to be very mysterious and low profile - come forward Fred24 and speak to us!
