I've seen reference to Direct X and I'm at a loss. What does it do? Is it part of the game or an add on? Do I need it?
I just don't have a clue what it is!!!
DirectX is a core technology/addon by Microsoft that is used by games, including Trainz. You will need it in order to open Trainz, and it is best to keep it up to date - see the General Trainz forum for my thread on how to update it.
Thanks shane, Your post is one of the reasons I asked about it. I was wondering if I needed to update it, that is if I had it. Since I am able to open Trainz, I guess I have it, brilliant deduction...lol
