deleting an old account

Dear Community,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to unregister an old serial number and delete an old account? Reason being is I have two. My TRS2004, which I finally gained acess to (I had to search everywhere for the password) and my TRS2006/TRS2009, which is the one I would like to keep.

I am pretty sure that this is something that you can't do for yourself, or at least I cant see anything in my profile pages that would allow me to make such a significant change to my account. I guess that it would need a ticket to the helpdesk for them to sort?

You should ask to have your old account merged into the one you want to keep. However, be aware that this can be quite time consuming, especially since Auran is obviously maintaining at least two databases (vBulletin and a registry of DLS users) so it's not something administrators like to do.
