Capture as jpg?

Pressing the screen print button puts a "tga" file into the screenshots folder. Is there a setting that will capture a jpg instead or is the tga format a Windows default for the print screen button?

Most image manager software (like Irfanview) has "batch conversion" function. This is the fastest way to write *tga files into *jpg.

But You can change the result, as the guys reportet bevore.
At least You need a imaging software (irfanview, gimp, ...) who can handle tga AND jpg files.

Thanks. Conversion to jpg is not a problem. I was just trying to skip that process and save it as a jpg to begin with.

I use the Irfanview "view folder" function and then convert the screenshots I want to jpg as a batch. Then I delete that folder.

It works quite simply. You can preview the files using the folder view in Irfanview and either do the lot or select the images you want.

Irfanview is much more generous with file sizes; the tga files can get to 3 meg; with Irfanview you can resize and reduce the file size considerably.

Hope this helps.
