Can't get any cars to work.

Now that my 6 month route for TC went up in flames, I went back to 2004. However, when I tried to place a trainset on the tracks, it wouldn't work. I finally noticed that none of my passenger and freight cars appear in the game, but all of the engines do. Has this happened to anybody else?

A lot of content is not backwards compatible between TS2006 and TS2004.
Try re-downloading the content. If it was modified by TS2006, it will most likely not work in TS2004.

i should clerify. 2004 is on a completely different comp then my TC. i don't have any 2006 content. and when I say that no cars show, I mean NONE! Not even the ones that came with the game show, including in the railyard. The only things that show are the engines. Even tendons don't show but the locomotive does. I never heard of this happening before.

Sounds like a bad patch, delete and do a new install.
