last 79091 OPENGL pict for today

Thanks Jannie for then nice comments and yes some textures really work well when rotated and placed well which need a lot of attention for the detail per m2/sq ft.
Time to stop long weekend work with good results here a last sunset shot near Donald station.

Crowd: "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ooooooooooooooooooooooooh "

Roy, you are making it harder and harder :) :) for us mere trainzers to approach your scenic splendor. But I for one, will keep plugging away using your routes as standards to measure against.

Cheers,
--Michael.

G'day Roy, some more wonderful shots, you must be worn out climbing up and down those mountains for those shots.:hehe: :hehe:

Morning Barry,Eric, thanks for the kind post.
Well actually the mountains with the zebra effect was not ready yet but illusions and effect sometimes just do the job depending on daytime angle and distance from the object.
Mountaineering and texturing in Trainz is not for the faint of heart and you will have more "failures" than progress depending how one look at it.
I have a thumb rule that you need 15+steps before a textured mountain looks seasonal.
With the correct salt, pepper, herbs, veggies you can cook a nice mountain range but do not think this can be achieved in a few days.....

Build 79551

Last night i downloaded, installed in one go the beta SP1.
I checked vital stuff, all works fine, run sessions 10 consists up still running.... what can i say, lucky or maybe handy in making things work i need.

Back to texturing and planting trees in the vast mountain ranges now triple the size of the former route.

Hi Paul,

i working my **** off to get things ready but as always so many details I simply have to skip and do later in a future update.Lucky its only texturing and getting the right look and feel for distant mountain ranges and glaciers.

remake of Revelstoke Dam and Lake

Well this is not for the faint of heart due to many corrupt assets from TS12 i ended up with tracks i.o. splines and had to redo the entire dam which is no fun. The result though soose the pain of frustration, so much stuff has to be redone but ok almost there.

Roy

Absolutely beautiful!! Can't wait to set up a seaplane-based tour from Revelstoke over the golf course, the new dam and the newly sculptured and textured mountains. Are you hoping to have enough seasonal assets that you will only need one version of the route?

Hope you are feeling as good as possible and that you are now able to go back to the mountains and the people and pets that you love. Winter is beginning here in BC so it is nearly time to bring back the snow on your route!
