Select the items you want to remove and 'Disable' them, then filter them out of the display with 'And Not' and then 'Location - Disabled'. If you save that filter and give it a name it will show up as a box in the top menu.
You can also use the Rating stars by allocating a specific rating to the disabled assets and filter them out with 'And Not' and then 'Rating 1 Star', or whatever rating you used. You can use similar filters in Surveyor
If you delete them, which you can't, they could cause errors on route that use them. If they are disabled they are still available to routes.
