alot of content on dls is not available

can somebody tell me why there are alot of downloads not available?

Be more specific please. Anything specific you are looking for?

The reasons can be many. Just to name a few / the most common:
- Because people host content on websites out of the DLS
- Because your version does not download content made for the next version of trainz

well its saying that the server cant be reach unknown error

Consider posting...:
- What the kuid is of the object you are trying to download
- What version of the game you are using
- The build number of the version of the game you are using
- If you have an active FCT or not

This issue may also be due to recurring problems with the DLS that started after the reboot last week.

When this reboot occurred, it most likely cause the data to be out of sync with what is shown that exists but is not there. N3V Games' system admin, Spiffy is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the problem.
