A reskinning question...

Hey guys. I am an amateur reskinner and I would like to know how to import logos into where you reskin the engine. I am using GIMP 2.6 to reskin and have trainz 12.

I am looking for a website with something like an Amtrak logo or a Septa logo that you can just copy and paste into the reskinning file.

Try going to Google images and type in Amtrak logo. I did and got tons of logos to choose from.

But how do you open it in the same file that the train reskin is? Because whenever I try that it always opens a new GIMP project.

You don't. You save the image as a file name of your choice, you copy and paste the image to your window in your graphics program, you make changes to it, then copy and paste it onto the opened image file for the asset you are trying to reskin.
