    CSX Heritage Units, What if?

With all of the craziness over the latest set of heritage units (being Norfolk Southern's), that got me thinking. What would it look like if CSX had heritage units? Well here's what I thought they might look like. Thanks to Michael Eby for letting me use his original drawings. Painting and...

Photographic Fun: What Makes a Good Trainz Photo? (Large Sized Photos)

Hello everyone. Haven't really used this feature before, so this is a first. Well, I figured I would just share somethings I think help make a good photo in Trainz. (These ideas work best for 09-12, because I found it really hard to get really good pics in 06 and older versions). 1. Lighting...

    Jointed Rail Website

Is it just me or is it that when I went to go to JR's website ( I have it bookmarked), it came up with some weird program site? I also tried by searching JR on google and going to their site and the same thing happened. Has anyone else seen this problem or is it, like I said, just me?

    Aberdeen, Carolina & Western F7s 4500 & 4501

I made yet another thing of F-Units. They are Aberdeen, Carolina & Western F7s 4500 and 4501, ex-Ohio Central 1000 and 1001. They look as they currently do in real life. I don't think these units are used often, so they are great for rolling stock on storage track or in use when initally bought.

American Crystal Sugar Co. F7a 64 in the Works ("The Diesel Fairy")

Well, here it is so far and it doesn't quite yet have its famous Diesel Fairy yet. You Colorado folks may know about this unit. It is ex-D&RGW 5644, and it was sold to ACS in 1970 and then sold again in 1980 to Glen Monhart and turned into Chicago, Madison and Northern 564 and then into...

(First set of pics has been split into five posts. (# 1, 2, 3, 5, 6)) A few years ago, 22 to be exact, the then current British Rail president made a claim in a interview with Trains Magazine (which appeared in their December 1990 issue) that BR freight service was not only faster, but...

    Preserved American Diesels

Hello all, right now I am compiling a huge list of preserved American Diesels spread across all loco generations and makers. This could be for a possible book, maybe. Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any locos I may have missed. "Preserved" is a loose term for this project...

The trucking company that owned the truck that slammed into the side of an Amtrak train in Reno, is sueing UP and Amtrak for, as they claim, a unproperly guarded grade crossing that failed to have a proper gate, timing and circuitry for the gate. Reps. from UP and Amtrak have nothing to say...
