I've been experimenting with the water in Surveyor 2.0 and I was wondering if there was a way to mix two kinds of water together. For example, I'm building a harbor and I want the water in the harbor to be calm, and the ocean water to be more rough.

Trainz Plus and TRS22 can have multiple Water Effect Layers each with their own colours and surface effects.
You raise and lower each layer when needed or not needed. Although I am not sure how the transition would work between two water layers if they meet at a common boundary.

The waters don't meet as they are on different layers. They can overlap each other.
You are correct. I was thinking more in terms of the visual transition from layer 1 to layer 2. You would have to use the Set Height brush action to raise and drop the layers in and out of the scene but there would still have to be an overlap and what would that look like? I must try it sometime.

I was wondering if this worked or not! I've been wanting to upgrade PGibbons NSW North Coast route 'privately' to have multiple water levels between Coffs Harbour and Border Tunnel at the various rivers, lakes and of course the ocean.. I have all 3 routes merged and wasn't sure if I'd break something if I attempted to have more than one water layer.

The Big Banana is located a bit further away from Coffs Harbour CBD, railway station and not even too close to the railway line which is a shame as it would look pretty awesome driving passed the Big Banana.. The route is originally by PGibbons, I've only merged the 3 routes together, again for private use. Still amazing routes, John check them out

I agree, the Big Banana would be something to drive past. I "went" there virtually a few times with Daniel Shaw on his storm-chasing livestreams. At the height of a chase, he has to stop there and get a frap. ;-)
