Missing Kuids? Post them here.

By the way, I downloaded another route from The Switchback, Southern Saluda Grade 1980's, and I tracked all the missing dependencies down except one made by Therock: <kuid:37581:7>. Any help is appreciated.
hello <kuid:37581:7> Rough Asphalt
John

I just tried going to valleyrailservices.weebly.com, a site I haven't been to before, and I got the redirect as well. Definitely something wrong with the website.

The only contact information listed for slabay (Scott) on his Trainz profile is the website. If someone has any other contact info for him, they will need to contact him, and let him know about the redirect.

Not sure what <kuid:523:1972437> is, but based off the checks I did in TANE, TS19, and TS22, the other items with <kuid:523:1972xxx> are either built-in, or payware.
I had that asset, <kuid:523:1972437>, at one time but no longer do. The issue is there's a bug that's never been fixed where missing lower version assets are not replaced by higher versions if they exist in built-in or DLC and this has been an ongoing issue since at least T: ANE.

It's unfortunate that his website is infected.

Thanks for the reply.

The only content I currently have (aside from my attempt to re-create an unfinished project that I started in an earlier version of Trainz) ALL came from the various authorized Auran/N3V download sites. (I recently bought Trainz22 at the official site, and my older versions were installed on a different machine from compact disks.)

I`ve been on a download spree via Content Manager, and the following assets report as Installed from DLS, Missing dependencies: <kuid2:45203:186:1>,<kuid2:45203:170:1>,<kuid2:45203:2:1>,<kuid2:45203:166:1>,<kuid:-25:963>,<kuid2:45203:3:2>,<kuid2:45203:167:1>,<kuid2:45203:189:1>,<kuid2:393523:1488:1>,<kuid2:210518:10252:1>,<kuid2:523:1046:1>,<kuid:554607:100171>,<kuid:602570:2897>,<kuid:524343:6204>,<kuid2:82412:8986:1>,<kuid2:82412:8985:1>

Just to confirm, I /have/ the above listed assets.

When I select these assets and List Dependencies Recursively, the following assets list as unknown assets: <kuid2:286240:10008:1>,<kuid2:276266:1192:1>,<kuid:554607:100048>,<kuid2:82412:6098101:1>,<kuid:213782:11147>,<kuid2:276266:1191:1>,<kuid:602570:101286>,<kuid2:43955:11018:1>,<kuid:138423:112439>,<kuid2:30671:92616900:1>,<kuid2:30671:92711390:1>,<kuid2:210518:926169002:1>

Content Manager reports all other dependencies as being correctly installed.

I understand that most, if not all, of these assets are likely to be old enough to require reworking to work correctly in Trainz22, but I don`t really care; I`m willing to rework them myself. The unfinished project mentioned at the top was a custom library asset with a few related assets that allowed me to use it in my own routes (a Rule to load the library, possibly a Driver Command to access the relevant parts of the library, and a HUGE amount of code to print the contents of various structures to an on-screen console, etc.). I used to be somewhat competent at editing config.txt and *.gs files. I had big plans for that unfinished project.

What I need now is a list of content that is available from the DLS via Content Manager, without requiring me to buy anything else, that is suitable (preferably MOST suitable) to use as replacements for the various unknown assets. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can anyone could help with these KUIDs please? I have every release of Trainz from ver. 1. I also tried KUID index, google, some other KUID search engines. Also I purchased close to all DLCs.

Are you sure you have ALL versions of Trainz? Those assets are "Base" in TRS22:

<kuid:-1:6342> Choppy
<kuid:-1:609> Grass a
<kuid:-1:6132> Trigger
<kuid:-25:1180> Grid (PBR)
<kuid:-1:6131> Track mark
<kuid:-1:6130> Trackside Camera

Those ones are on TKI:

<kuid2:71949:1930020:1>
<kuid:71949:1930353>
<kuid:71949:1930383>

Yes, My author id is 84587, been playing since Trainz 1 was released. Thank you for pointing that out. I thought I checked TRS22 for those KUIDs, evidently not. Thank you for your help. Hunting dependencies is almost a game of it's own!

<kuid:138423:112129>: RRMods' ASF trucks for '62 Bulkhead. Since the trucks are gone from the archived site (using Wayback, although I can download the Bulkheads from there), I'd replace the trucks with the ones from the Coil Cars.

Ok, while trying to re-download some Download Station content that I had had installed under a previous installation, I came across the following error:

Unable to search asset <kuid:61392:4050>. Your registered products do not grant access to content of this version.

What gives? I understand the error message just fine; it just seems totally inappropriate for trying to reinstall DLS content.

So I plug the asset into Content Manager under Asset KUID, and it lists Common data library V2 by pguy, Available for download, Obsolete.

Running THAT through List Asset Versions, I get a large number of <unknown asset> (expected), several Available for download, Obsolete, and one each Built-in, Obsolete, Packaged, Obsolete and Packaged.

Apparently I already have the latest-and-greatest, and versions are available for download, including the requested version.

I`m sorry of this thread is inappropriate for this, but I was already starting this post when I though to ask Content Manager.

The error message itself is still an error, however. I`m assuming that others have been bit by this, and hope that someone has filed a ticket. Zec, are you listening here?

Ignore the error. Since this is a payware asset and you already have the latest and greatest, it's not worth pursuing.
