    No Trainzoptions.txt file

Somewhere between the installation of SP1 and the 2 Hot Fixes to bring my TS12 to 57720, I no longer have a Trainzoptions.txt file. I tried a search of my C drive using Windows Explorer's search function and then manually checked every folder in the N3V folder. Is this normal now? Bob Weber

You gotta have sand to make it up a 2.85% hill!

Sound Transit (commuter rail in the Pacific Northwest, USA) runs F59PHI locos with 6-8 cars between Seattle to Tacoma, Washington. Starting in Oct of this year they extended the line southward to Lakewood, Washington. The two obstacles to that addition was that it required new track and the...

    Private_Listing_Overlay

I notice that several built-in assets have the private_listing_overlay bitmap over the built-in status icon. Here is a screen shot of part of CM3.3 showing some. Does anyone know what and how and why this is used. Bob Weber

    Commodities

I set CM3.3 to Category - Commodity looking for woodchips but it wasn't there. I noticed that several commodities are not listed as commodities but are listed as Misc. The following kuids are all commodities but are listed as Misc: 20ft Container <KUID:-3:10014> 40ft Container...

    Test of WIKI enginespec steam

I copied the default values from the Wiki's kind engine and kind steam-engine into a new enginespec and tried it out in the JNR D6210 2-8-4 Berkshire,<kuid:438196:62010> loco. In Driver CAB mode the gauges started out as boil pressure 83 psi and water was 100%. Set the cutoff to 75% and opened...

    Hayes-Logger running bogies

Trying to fix the hayes-logger,<kuid2:50567:15818:1>. Just about done except when I place it on a track in Surveyor, the wheels (bogies) are running while standing still. I've seen this with locos and I think I've even fix one or two but I can't remember what the fix was. Anyone have a fix...

    Marker lights vs Classification lights

Marker lights on the caboose mark the rear of the train and usually have a (large) red lens and two (smaller) green lenses. Markers could be rotated in their brackets to display green to the rear when a train was in the clear on a siding and the mainline switch was properly lined. Classification...
