Hallo @ all,

I just finished my set of 50ft-flatcars. There are three kinds of these flatcars. One has been set up to carry trailers. The second has not been equipped with anything so it could carry a lot of different loads just like flatcars usually does –e.g. farm equipment, containers or canvas loads. At the moment I created these three kinds of flatcars for the MILW (one for each kind) and for the UP (one for each kind). Therefore we have a set of nine seasonal flatcars all together.
Because empty flatcars does not make too much fun, I created a set of seasonal car loads as seasonal cars needs to be loaded with seasonal loads.

At the moment I already created seasonal commodity assets for flatcars as follows:

Flatcars for trailers:

  • a set of 34ft trailers (14 items)
  • a set of 41ft trailers (11 items)

Flatcars for everything:

  • a set of 40ft (3 items in different colors)
  • a set of 20ft (3 items in different colors)
  • a set of CAT-D8-dozers (2 items different looking)
  • timber stacks (rectangular stacks of timber)
  • canvas loads (4 items in different colors)
  • track stack as load (1 item)
  • a set of steel pipe loads (3 stacks to 9 pipes in different colors)

Flatcars for log loads:

  • a set of log stack loads (3 stacks to 9 pipes – 16ft, 40ft, 50ft)
  • a set of steel pipe loads (3 stacks to 14 pipes in different colors)

Now I want give people the chance to get involved into the creation process. Just in case anybody have a suggestion about additional loads, please don’t hesitate to let me know. The only restriction at the moment is that I would like to maintain the time period from about 1965 to 1972 in the USA. Also the load should not be too complicated as I only plan one or two more weeks of time to work on such extra stuff. But I am free for suggestions – especially if it comes along with links to some pictures of the real thing so that I know what I will have to create and that I may work out texture from it :)

Even if a content creator has already crated some commodity and wants to improve it to maintain season change, I could provide some help if wanted. In this case I could make snowy reskinns as needed and I would put it together with the original “non snow” version into one seasonal asset. For use at the seasonal flatcars the permission to upload the new, seasonal load assets onto DLS would be required.
The plan is to release the car and the load assets via N3V together with the seasonal Avery-Drexel-Route.

Of course I cannot promise that all suggestions can or will be considered – we just need to see :)

Nicely done....Them sheds to the right of that lumber bldg, will them also be available??

Yeah I think all of this stuff including lumber stacks, etc will all be available as different parts. These are all put into one here for the purpose of making some industries with smart track already installed.
