Friendship requests

I have posted previously on this topic and have just (at long last) amended my signature to show that I neither make nor accept friendship requests.

I have two reasons for this - the first is that I look upon all Trainz users as my friends and have enjoyed exchanging view with enthusiasts in the UK and other countries, both in these forums and by private emails. The second is to avoid giving offence when I receive a friendship request and reject it.

This is not intended as a criticism of anyone to whom specific friendships and compiling a list of friends is important - to each his/her own - but it is not a route which I want to follow.

I can not unstand why anyone needs to feel he/she needs to become someones friend, just being on the fourm & in Trainz would make you a friend to me anyway.
