Hey Guys!

Just to bring you up to date…

You will remember that last week I asked everyone to send in their thoughts on the future direction for Jointed Rail.

The response we got last week was incredible. I received over 380 survey responses so far from Jointed Rail customers.

And these were really interestingsurveys! I am really honored by the time and effort that our customers are putting into the responses.

In fact, when I start reading them I get really excited about our future. And I bet it will do the same for you!

I’m going to put them up on our website so you can see them too. You can see them at this site:

http://jointedrail.com/index.php/blog/survey-results.html

We put up the general stats and PAGES of comments there. When you get to the bottom of each page, be sure to click on the “next Page” link to see even more.

And PLEASE, feel free to give us any MORE input after seeing what others are saying. There’ll be a comment box on the page there as well (or take the survey if you haven’t already at:

Best,

Mike

P.S. Reading all the comments on the web site is a great rallying call for our future. Here’s the link again:

Mike,

The Survey Results were very interesting. I'm glad you guys thought of doing this. It was needed.

But I'm disappointed that no one mentioned my routes (Ozark Valley, Miyabi Coastline, and Cotton Belt) as some of the favorites. I consider my routes some of the better ones--- better than 99% of the stuff that's out there. Oh well--- I guess that's just my opinion.

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks, looks like the demand is in more engines with detailed paint jobs. I guess that's a no brainer!

Hey Dave,

Don't be too concerned about it, this is only the results for 400 or so people. I would safely assume that if you have polled on your site the answers would have varied quite a bit, as I'm sure they would depending on where it was hosted. The survey did provide some interesting information, some that genuinely surprised me. Not all of the responses are posted either, I think there are a total of 32 questions. I also thought steam was going to do better, I also thought that there would be alot more interest in Australian routes and content as well.
