Error message

I have several items of rolling stock that have the following error message
Texture '256by256.texture is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'con4b.im'
Any clues of how to fix this would be appreciated

What is the rolling stock that has the error?

That is helpful for us to assist you with your texture problem.

Some examples are
Aberthaw Cement van
Birds Eye Van
Carricks van
and Carrs biscuits van

I have realised that they are all listed in Content Manager as "2004"
I am using 2010 edition - is this the issue?
I have other stuff listed as 2004 which works perfectly OK
Each of the ebove shows a perfectly reasonable image as a Content Manager thumbnail - but do not appear at all in Railyard
Look forward to your comments

Tony,

Even though they're made for 2004, that doesn't preclude them from being repaired. A lot of the errors are simple fixes unless the texture is totally messed up or there are script errors.

John

EDIT:

Aberthaw Cement Van 2004 ==== No problem in TS12. There are two versions. 217096:1217:1 is the latest.
Bird's Eye Van === There are two Kuids for this one! John Whelan made the original and ismabardkingdombrunel created another. Again no errors for me.
Carricks van ==== Same deal as above. No problems for me in TS12.

Now the texture does exist in Carricks van. You might need to run PEV's PM2IM on the assets to fix them.

You are not alone!

Apologies for the off topic intrusion, but your Forum name did make me laugh.:D

I reminded me of Lucy Lastick who was a favourite many years ago.

A modicum of mirth and merriment is always welcome amongst some of the more serious stuff.

Cheers

No apologies needed, Casper. :)

Sorry Tony for not being more specific. Shame on me as I am usually more clear when it comes to stuff like this. I made the assumption that everyone knows PEV! I'm glad Shane stepped in and put in the link for you. :D

Thanks for that folks - I will see how I get on.
John - no need to apologise.
Humour is always needed
I have a whole raft of odd names to use - how about, for example
Henrietta Pye
Benny Fitt
Annie Seed
Orson Karte
I could go on for ages !
