I don't see Auranshire County Railway in the list.
I downloaded it into TRS 2004 and it ran straight out of the box, slight irritation with one asset for scenario 2 but the maps O.K.

I have been evaluating layouts for over a year and have found that approximately 60% of the layouts require non-DLS objects. It was very frustrating to download a layout, download the DLS objects and then after investing all that time, find there are missing objects. What is more frustrating, is not knowing "what" is missing.

Anyway, here is a listing of layouts in five groups;
Layouts containing all DLS objects,
Layouts containing only one NON-DLS object,
Layouts containing 2 to 10 NON-DLS objects,
Layouts containing 10 to 100 NON-DLS objects
Layouts containing over 100 NON-DLS objects.

My thanks go out to the authors of the group of layouts with all DLS content. They are the true hobbyists who help others to learn and have fun, without creating hudles for them to jump over.

Clearly this is not the full listing of layouts on the DLS, but it certainly does highlight a lot of information.

This info should be stickied or maybe even tabulised in some way.

My Summerland Route 2:51261:100800:1 would qualify as all 10 non built in assets are available on theDLS. all the rest (248) are built in.

Just for the record, the 'non-DLS' items in Sen City 2006 are only 'extras' when run in TRS 2004. In TRS 2006, the 'extras' are built-in.

The items in question are in fact the VSR track versions made by Bloodnok. This track is 'Built-In' to TRS 2006 but as it does not seem to be on the DLS, full details of how to download it from the VSR website are included in my ReadMe file for the benefit of TRS 2004 users.

It would be nice if items that are built-in to some versions of Trainz were also available on the DLS but doubtless there are good commercial or political reasons for not doing this.

Other than that, I did make sure everything else was on the DLS.

Good idea to list things like this though!!!

Hi Alan - Valleyfields UK LNER (149790:104317) and Valleyfields UK BRER 1950's (149790:104468) are both complete DLS .........unless I have items on my pc from early TRS2004 days that are no longer around!

Hi Alan: Now you have this underway, what is the routine for future layout uploads? Are we on the "honours system" such that we add the "All on DLS" comment before we upload, or do you guys have a process in place that verifies and then adds the comment (or not) as necessary?

All content on my route "Alberta Run" was taken from the DLS but now two of them for some reason show up as missing so I had to put them on my website but they are not necessary.
