Quick question

Fallen Flags (according to this Wikipedia definition) is a North American term referring to railroad companies no longer in existence due to bankruptcy or merger.

Can this include defunct railway companies from other countries, or is the theme intended for USA and Canadian stuff only?

This was one of Swedens most northen railrods called Inlandsbanan, Nordlunda - Arvidsjaur. The line was used untill 1990, when the sawmill in Nordlunda was bankrupt. This screenshot is supposed to be from Inlandsbanans glory days in the 50s

As I see it, defunct railways from other countries are certainly allowed.

The Coronation Scot is diverted along the S&C due to works on the WCML, and is seen passing a station. The station was unused, allowing to get a shot without passengers in the way.
