Don't forget that they had to hastily pull something new out of thin air to comply with new EPA regulations since their first design got nixed. I personally don't blame them for not focusing on aesthetics as much as something that works and will hopefully get a semblance of their market share back.

The paint is rather hideous. It might look much better in a traditional railroad scheme.

I'd think a nice coat of Big Sky Blue and the BNSF lettering on the cab would make a nice paint scheme. That H3 still don't look right to me.

Maybe when LILB makes his return he'll redo his existing cab forward.

I hope NS doesn't stop with those 2 locos, there are 6 SW1001's that were ex-Reading. I feel like one of those could be repainted into Reading paint.

Or they could also put an SD80MAC or SD40-2 into CR paint.
