Thanks Steve. Such great engines!

Sherman Hill on TrainzItalia. I doubt the MK-Specials where assigned to the Sherman Hill division but it’s a decent enough route to run them on.

My screenie was from there too.

FYI in 1950 #2480 was in storage at Laramie, #2482 was in the shop at Laramie, and #2483 was in storage at Cheyenne. :D So it is likely that at least three were working in the Sherman Hill area in the 20s, 30s, and 40s.

Edit: I was puzzled by the apparent conflict between UtahRails info on these locomotives and Steve's info.

Turns out that UP purchased their MK Spls in Sept 1918 build #s 59518-59537 and OSL purchased their MK Spls (OSL 2535-2554) in Dec 1918-Jan 1919 build #s 60235-60344. The UP locos were originally numbered 2295-2314 and renumbered to 2480-2499 in 1920. (Source UtahRails.net)

So now you can release a new OSL locomotive Steve. :D
