Which Railroads had the F-1 Steamer?

I need some feedback on which railroads in the United States used locomotives like the Northern Pacific's F-1 Class steamer. I'm looking to repaint Ben Neal's model into each of its 40 Paint Schemes for the 1266 Prototypical U.S. Railroads the type ran on.

Northern Pacific's F-1 Class steamer 2-8-0, built 1888, used up to 1947. I do not think it had "40 Paint Schemes" or used on 1266 railroads. Most steam locomotives in the US were made in very low numbers, 10 would be a big order and under 500 was the biggest number made.
