I'm going to let every one know that for this time on if you wish to reskin any of my mesh's you Do Not Need To Ask permission for the following:

Forgot to add:
I will be relessing a nother copy of Dragons Pass that you can make your own and upload onto DLS only you can not Remove the existing track must leave atless 50% of the Original map as it is. you can make your own costoms, fixs and ajustmets what every you wont. This wont be ready yeat got to work out the details.

You're not the first (I know Ronin13 has given blanket permission too), but there certainly aren't very many. Thanks for throwing your stuff out into the reskinning world!! It is always appreciated to have more material to skin!!!

My license clearly gives permission to not only re-skin all my items but permission to modify them (if possible). I'm even willing to provide an original mesh now and then for a good reason.

I salute and celebrate any modeler that grants reskinning rights, but I do understand wanting to keep control of your models as well, thank you!

The only mesh I know about at the moment is gear mesh and chicken mesh but thanks to you too and everybody else for when I get there ( probably with lots of meshing of teeth )

Just for the record, my assets are also free to reskin, so long as I am given credit (along with anyone else I credit), and that the assets are only distributed o the DLS. I'll probably agree to any other use (including distribution with payware routes) if you ask nicely...

Hi Paul:

Seems to me the rules concerning payware are a lot more complex then one might think. I say that because not too long ago a gent asked me to make a few custom bridges for a true to prototype payware route he was making. Normally I'd say no but I realized the Trainz environment is changing so I agreed as long as they could be uploaded to the DLS as individual items for everyone else. Eventually he declined my offer because that would in some way violate his agreement with Auran/N3V (something that I totally do not understand). To my way of thinking your not (directly) paying for the items I made but rather the route he made that happens to have a few items I made on it (but again I don't claim to understand the rules applying to payware). Perhaps in some way that is a violation.

For what it's worth, this is my licence:-

license "Do as you wish, but credit me for the original model."

Would be better if the Mods rounded up all the permission posts (without the additional comment posts) and stickied the post for future reference .
It would save skinners having to chase up permissions via PM or email should they not be available in the config file .

This may have arisen from a creator who has contracted with N3V to create a route for future distribution with the game. I am speculating of course, but it's possible they would like to have some content not available until such a route is released in the the game.
