I've just received my first Visitor Message - and wasn't quite sure how to reply, so sent a PM. Is this correct? or does just typing in the reply after reading the message serve the same purpose?

Ray,

You may simply go to the profile of the user you received the message from and leave one on their page too. It will be under the tab 'Visitor Messages'.
