BNSF Seattle Subdivsion: Kalama to Tenino *Warning Large Images*

The BNSF Seattle Subdivision is located in the state of Washington and goes from Seattle, WA(MP 0.0x) to Vancouver, WA(MP 137.0). BNSF, UP, Amtrak, and Amtrak Cascades share this line. The line sees an average of 50+ trains per day. This is for Trainz 2012 Hotfix 3 and above. So far I have built the line from Kalama to Rocky Point(North Kelso). Here is some progress shots of the trackwork and signalling.

Well, that's an ambitious project. I realize that you are just beginning, and some people like the shots of bare grid with HOG textures. I can't use them to "get interested" in a route however. I'll check back from time to time to see the progress you plan to make.

Here is the first shot of some of the scenery that has been added.

I'll have more shots soon. Enjoy!

Some new shots from my BNSF Seattle Subdivision. I have overlay images in there to help with prototypical rail, switch, signal, and scenery placement. These images represent what this area will look like soon.

I lived in Tenino some years back. About 50 yards from the main line and yes, a lot of train went by each day. Great for a rail fan. The coolest thing I saw was Union Pacific's big steam train go past.

Hello all, been awhile since I have posted an update. This project is still alive and well. I have added more DEM tiles to this route that extends the route from around Seattle, WA to Vancouver,WA/Portland, OR to just east of Roosevelt, WA/Arlington, OR. I have some shots of the progress being made in Vancouver, WA. Here are some shots showing how the track work looks.

Here are some from between CP Fruit Valley and CP Vancouver Center.
