Steamshots USA..Lets See Some Steam Shots..

After a cool summer rain shower, we see Tennessee & Eastern Northern #1428 pulling a short passenger train through a natural tunnel cut area.

In 1890 the Santa Fe created a train that ran from Cincinnati to Phoenix as an excellent route for both freight and passenger service. To sale the southwest experience to the eastern customers the Santa Fe called the train the Turquoises. It became a very popular train for the winters in the east and the summers in the west. In the early 1900's the Art Deco and streamlining look became all the rage and the railroads followed suit. Here we have the new Turquoises coming into Cincinnati approaching the Zinzinnati Zeppelin manufacturing plant showing off one of their hansom new streamlined locomotives.

Neet! Is that your OP&E layout ANL? I do love big trees routes.

I like that little articulated. :D The skeleton cars are nice too.

This is the first week in awhile that there wasn't smoke in the air here.

With all the fires that were around me I better put a spark arrestor on this thing.

Nice Mallet, any possibility of a coal fired version with no spark arrestor? This design could be useful for fictional railroads set in the eastern half of the US.

Trainboi1 said those might be in the next trainz forge release. I like that 2-6-2T. There aren't enough large saddletankers in trainz.
