The most rediculous route in Trainz (Worlds Records)

I have seen some rollercoaster routes, and some moon & mars routes ... I was wondering if anyone has made a route that went from the extreme low elevation of -3000m, up to +3000m elevation ... or a route that goes from 0.00m elevation, to the maximum of +3000m elevation.

Now ... That is ludicrously, ridiculous !

Also the Late John Allen created the monsterous Gorre & Daphitid RR in his basement. It had floor to ceiling scenery, and a narrow riverbed that you walked into the layout.

Has anyone made a believable realistic route like John Allen did ?

There are many other monsterous routes detailed in Model Railroader Magazine, through out the decades.

Not sure about the G&D but I think a couple of people have had a go at Hungry Horse Timber. Otherwise I guess the closest you might get is doing one of the Peruvian routes, or that extreme railway in Chile, Ferronor - take a look at some of these pictures!

I somehow think we might struggle to texture that, though, probably need a custom object making for the vertical slope.

There were routes like that here in Nevada and over to Death Valley for the mines - not class 1 but still.... wow
 
Who else has downloaded the "Moon", and "Mars" routes, and found them facinating (especially their extraterrestrial skies) ?

I was going to create a route of the "Area 51" with it's extremely long runways ... but I thought MIB would come a knockin' on my door, asking questions.

I was going to do the 3000 mph railroad at Hollowman AFB, where they had plans for a jed assisted rocket railroad for space flights.

I remember way back when I started Trainz I was going to do a Pokemon themed route.
They are long gone and never were finished but the idea was a bit of a joke. :hehe:

I did a update To the G&D and got it as close as i could to the orignal in 2006 but never released it, lots of tunnels, bridges missing and other things, including the tram line.
