Hi guys

I have three questions -

1. On the west coast in the late 1990's, (1997-99) what would have been a consist for a superliner?? Just a random one, and what phase would they be in??

2. What points levers would look accurate for an ex-ATSF now BNSF line??

3. Would there have been concrete sleepers on the main line??

Cheers

Jamie

I live in western Washington st. Till about 3 years i lived about 150 yards from the BNSF/ UP main line from Seattle to Portland Or. for around 12 years. 1: I don't thing the Amtrack has changed there train in a long time. They did add some pusher, puller train with light car for local.
2: don't know
3: All wood sleeper from Seattle to Portland. The main line fallows interstate 5 (I 5) and you can see alot of the main from the freeway. Wood, we have a lot of trees in the NW.:D

I would have to say that
1. The consist could either be pulled by P32bwh's or a p40's or p40's they were usually phase 3 as far as I can remember with some phase 4's in the mix,
Consist could be: baggage, baggage, transition, sleeper, sleeper, sleeper, diner, sightseer lounge, coach, coach, coach, coach, coach -baggage MHC, MHC, MHC, MHC
